Summerlees Sutton Forest Wedding | Caitlin + Tim
This Summerlees Wedding was incredible, and I’m very happy to share it with you today 😍
Summerlees (it’s since changed names to Somerley House), a sprawling Sutton Forest estate; somehow, a wedding here is even more beautiful in gloomy weather. We arrived early and were inquisitively greeted by various cute animals: a big fluffy grey cat (his name is Nikel), an ancient and smiling sheep-dog, various haphazardly-placed chickens pecking in the dirt, and a very assertive peacock. Michelle and I explored the grounds, navigating through the fog like a ship exploring a stormy ocean. It was raining, but we knew it would stop by the afternoon.
The rain eventually left, and left us with the most wonderful wedding-photo weather ever. Cool temps, thick mist, muted colours. This Summerlees wedding was a dream to photograph.
Caitlin + Tim and their Summerlees wedding
Caitlin wore an incredible Inbal Dror gown (scroll down, you’ll see). She and Tim were married in a forest on the property in front of a small group of friends. I’m quite sure that Nikel and the other animals were also watching from the back too 🐈 🐕
