Misty Exeter Wedding

I have a real soft spot for weddings on private farms. Often it’s a property owned by one of the parents, or a family friend. For this reason there’s a real connection to the land that you might not feel at a paid venue.

Bridget and Nick were married at Bridget’s parents’ property in Exeter on what began as a normal Southern Highlands overcast day. I recall, just before the ceremony started, looking out over the valley and marvelling at the fog that was rolling in. Then after the ceremony, as we headed off for photos, that fog turned into a wonderful, all-consuming thing that we walked through as we made our way around the property. It was like shooting portraits in an actual cloud.
