Berry Backyard Wedding

I love backyard weddings – especially ones that are so close to home. Millie and Pete were married in Millie’s parents’ backyard in hills outside Berry. I arrived and shot from the start of the ceremony through to a good chunk of the dancing. Millie and Pete were wonderful hosts – Millie even messaged the day before suggesting that I wear shorts to the wedding instead of my standard long pants due to the high temps predicted. What a legend!

It did in fact turn out to be a warm day; it was 38 degrees when I took these first few shots below, then cooled down to around 30 after the ceremony. After the ceremony, we all moved over to the red barn (I was super captivated by this beautiful building) for canapés. Then we went for a wander around the property to take some photos, then on to the marquee for food.
