Hidden in the incredible bush, deep in the Southern Highlands, is a magical place to get married. I’ve photographed quite a few Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat weddings but this is the first on my blog. Hope you enjoy it! 

An Incredible Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat wedding

One of my objectives for 2024 is to blog the huge list of weddings that I’ve wanted to share for so long, but just never had the chance. Top of the list is this KVBR wedding. Here are a few things I love about this beautiful venue, in no particular order. I love how it’s quite close to town, but feels like it’s in the middle of absolutely nowhere. It’s very private and peaceful. The view from the sunset deck is… well, words kinda fail to do it justice. This is especially the case during cocktail hour, as wedding guests mingle on the deck and the sun sets over the river. It’s sublime! 

Sascha and Pat were a perfect fit for KVBR. For them, the day wasn’t so much a ‘wedding’, but a party at which they also happened to get married.
