Kalinya Estate Wedding

It brings me great joy to see this beautiful Kalinya Estate wedding on my blog. I adore wedding venues that kinda feel like home; they don’t feel like a big production line venue, but rather an intimate private backyard. Like the venue is yours, and yours alone, and no-one else has ever had their wedding there (even though this obviously isn’t the case!) Kalinya Estate is one of these magical places.

An Intimate Kalinya Estate wedding

Kalinya Estate is tucked away in the lovely farmland near Bargo in the Southern Highlands. It occupies an a big area amongst beautiful fields and paddocks. It’s far enough to be quiet and secluded, but close enough that you don’t feel isolated. It’s quite an incredible property, and is quite perfect for weddings. You can get ready on site, have your ceremony and reception on site, and you need not go anywhere off-site for photos as there are so many beautiful locations at the venue.

Rosey and David were a lovely relaxed couple who just wanted to enjoy their day. We actually did their wedding portraits before the ceremony, but in my photos below I’ve put them after the ceremony as that seems to flow better while viewing the wedding as a whole. We were lucky to get a beautiful overcast day (a photographer’s dream!)
