Hey there. If you’ve arrived to this blog post, it’s likely you’re looking for a Wollongong wedding photographer. Here you’ll find a wonderful wedding I photographed in the Gong; the ceremony was at Sandon Point, on the grass near the beach, and the reception was at Harbourfont in Wollongong.
Of the 7 years that I’ve been shooting weddings, I often find myself thinking of the people i’ve met and the locations i’ve been to for work. I love shooting weddings in Wollongong as they’re so close to home. This wedding in particular was memorable for one big reason in particular: the confetti. You’ll have to scroll down to see what I’m talking about.
After the ceremony at Sandon Point, we walked down to the beach for some photos. The day was perfect – a wonderful summer day in Wollongong. I also managed to find some cool old walls, factories and some nice graffiti to shoot against.
Special mention to the awesome Chev Impala that the guys used as their wedding car – I really love this old car.
Erin and Matt were an absolute joy to hang out with. I really enjoyed spending time with their family and friends, too; in fact, since this wedding I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the weddings of various guests from this wedding, most of which were also held in Wollongong.
If you’re looking for a Wollongong wedding photographer, I’d love to hear from you. I don’t shoot in Sydney much but if you’re planning a Sydney wedding, you might also to take a look at this Grounds of Alexandria wedding on my blog.
