Everyone, say hi to Lucy and Cai. I’m very happy to share their Centennial Vineyards wedding with you today. Looking back through these photos, I remember how wonderfully overcast the day was, and how perfectly soft the light was. For some reason I remember the day as being cold, although I’m sure it wasn’t (it was November).
I have a couple of favourite wedding venues in the Highlands: Centennial Vineyards is definitely one of them. Shooting a wedding here is like putting on a nice comfy jacket – one that I know very well, that is warm, cosy and inviting.
Lucy got ready at Birchgrove Cottages in Bowral – high ceilings, white walls, the perfect spot to prepare for your wedding day. Cai was just down the road at Links House.
Often while i’m with the boys getting ready, i’ll ask the groomsmen: ‘so, do you think the groom is going to cry at the ceremony?’ I’ll often get some ‘maybe’s and sometimes ‘he’s a tough nut to crack’, but more often that not I get a resounding ‘absolutely’. Watching Cai’s reaction as Lucy walked down the aisle at this Centennial Vineyards wedding was the highlight of the day for me 🙂
Lucy’s makeup was by my good friend Makeup by Megan, and her hair was by the very talented Mae You Be. Her excellent florals were by Libs Little Studio. Her celebrant was the ever-smiling Alexandra Lollback.
Lucy and Cai, thanks for having me! If you’d like to see another wedding that I’ve photographed at this lovely venue, have a look at Tara and Robert’s Centennial Vineyards wedding here 🙂
