Allview Escape Blue Mountains Wedding | Katie + Sam

This day was an absolute cracker, and i’m really happy to finally share this Allview Escape Blue Mountains wedding with you.

I love living in the Southern Highlands and having my business based there. We have lots of wonderful wedding venues for me to shoot at, but one thing we don’t really have is huge cliffs, or massive canyons. So, i’m always keen to get into mountains to shoot.

An amazing Allview Escape Blue Mountains wedding

Allview Escape is a wonderfully magical place perched right on a huge canyon. Like – right on the edge. The ceremony spot is on a grassy open area where the guests can look behind the couple and off into the valley behind. It’s quite surreal to walk around this property, all the while knowing there’s an insanely huge canyon right there next to you. The bridal party told me how that morning they woke up to fog so thick they could barely see a metre in front of themselves. I was hoping beyond hope that this fog would return later in the afternoon for a few photos at this Allview Escape Blue Mountains wedding. It did return … a bit later than I’d hoped, but that’s ok 🙂

Styling by She Designs Events

This Allview Escape Blue Mountains wedding was impeccably styled by my friends at She Designs Events. They created a hanging garden complete with greenery and amazing chandeliers; the evening atmosphere in the marquee was one of some kind of fairy-tale wonderland.

The Allview Escape Blue Mountains wedding marquee

The marquee at this venue was just awesome. Some other venues I’ve shot at have had similar marquees, such as at this Growwild wedding, or this Hillview Heritage Hotel wedding. You can also have a look at this Southern Highlands Marquee wedding where Sophie and Andrew put up a marquee at a private farm in Moss Vale. You really can’t go wrong with a marquee wedding; the flexibility is second to none. You can choose where to erect the marquee, which direction it faces, and what size it is.  You can also decorate it exactly to your tastes, and to the colour palette of your wedding.
